Family Visits

This weekend my mom, Amber, Ella, and Brook came to visit. They drove up Wednesday night, and then we met in Salt Lake City, Thursday morning. We took Ella to see some of temple square, but I hate to say it is not that exciting to a three year old. She was excited about the big statue of Jesus though. Afterwards we went to welfare square, followed by some shopping. That night was the Lehi Pony Parade, which I didn't take any pictures of. It was fun. A parade of just horses to kick off the Lehi Rodeo. By the end of the day, we were all kind of worn out. Friday we took Ella to the dinosaur museum. She got to make a plaster raptor claw, which is what she is holding. She was digging for dinosaur bones with Brook and thought that was a lot of fun.

We spent most of the weekend shopping at gateway, and then Gardner Village. I took Ella swimming a couple of times at the hotel pool too. It was fun to have family around again. Friday night Ryan's good friends Jeff and Kristi and their little boy Gunnar came stayed with us so that they could attend a funeral Saturday morning. We haven't seen them for a really long time so we had fun visiting and it was nice to have company. I felt bad because our floor in my art room is wet, and thus makes our apartment smell very musty. We don't know what is causing the carpet to get wet, but it is water coming from somewhere outside the house. At least our lease is almost up...
